Sustainable tourism is currently more in demand than ever. The expectations of your guests, society and investors of the sense of responsibility of hoteliers are increasing. Many hoteliers and restaurateurs have already recognized this. But first the question arises: "Where should we start and which is the best "green" way?"
We have already gone a few steps further, have the ideal solutions ready for a start in sustainability and also support you in your further development. The way there is actually quite simple - and effectively saves costs in the long term!
Numerous GreenSign-certified hoteliers have come together in our community and the GreenCommunity has now matured into a large, sustainable partner network with a connection to the catering and hotel industry.
The GreenCommunity was originally an idea from the team at Infracert - Institute for Sustainable Development in the Hotel Industry, to give sustainable suppliers the opportunity to address sustainable hoteliers directly via a common platform. We can only promote further development of this network together and so we see the GreenCommunity as an interface between suppliers, partners and hoteliers.
In order to ensure that the GreenCommunity remains a network of sustainable and authentic partners, the GreenCommitment has been developed. It involves criteria in the areas natural environment, social commitment and future sustainability. Our partners should fulfill at least 50% of all of these criteria to become a member of the GreenCommunity.
In the GreenCommunity we not only create connections to important partners in the industry, but we also support you in positioning yourself as a sustainable company in the national and international market.
Together we are stronger and with our community we enable far greater awareness among guests, stakeholders and the media than a single hotelier can achieve.
We integrate your hotel on numerous portals with a focus on sustainable travel and enable visibility in travel agencies and on DER-Tour, TUI, FTI etc.
The integration on the unique booking platform for sustainably certified hotels www.greenline-hotels.com as well as the listing as a sustainable conference hotel on www.greenconferencehotels.com give you direct access to your target group.
We are happy to share our solutions for your sustainable and digital development in our network by bundling our know-how within the community.
We keep our community informed about the most important new developments in politics, technology, current trends and guest needs.
At our regular events with helpful topics on technology, the environment and the hotel industry, we are able to make direct personal contact, exchange ideas and learn from one another.
