After registering in the certification tool, the company carries out a self-evaluation. All questions are answered in the online tool within around 4 weeks.
Audit and award with GreenSign Office
The certification process ends with an on-site audit. The sustainability performance is then assessed with a degree of conformity of 30% to 100%. The certification is valid for three years.

GreenSign is practical and takes into account requirements from standards such as EMAS, DIN ISO 14001 and ISO 26000. The conformity assessment program evaluates and documents the status of a company’s environmental, social and economic measures. The results from 96 criteria in ten core areas contribute to the 17 SDGs.
